Welcome to the Evergreen Fibromyalgia Network

We have worked hard to build a network of physicians and patients, to create an environment of healing, education, and support for those suffering with fibromyalgia symptoms. Our team of doctors is dedicated to helping you understand and manage your fibromyalgia, taking extra care to address each of your questions and concerns in a friendly and compassionate manner. We understand that getting a fibromyalgia diagnosis can be confusing and frightening, and that you will have lots of questions. We're here to help.

In addition to our many treatment options, EFN works to provide you with ongoing support through local support groups, as well as informational classes, seminars, and literature, to help you better understand this often-confusing condition. You will have the opportunity to meet with others near you to talk about symptoms, ways of managing the condition, and receive support from the people who understand fibromyalgia best – those who have it.

What to Expect

Your initial visit to our facility will be spent diagnosing and assessing your fibromyalgia signs and symptoms. We will ask you for a medical history, as well as a list of symptoms you have experienced over the past three months. One of our nurses will walk you through your pre-exam screening, consisting of weight, blood pressure, and a simple urinalysis screening. Once the pre-exam is complete, you'll be visited by one of our knowledgeable clinicians for a diagnostic exam, which will include a trigger point test and a detailed discussion about the symptoms you have experienced. Your clinician may order additional tests, depending on your symptoms and medical history, and will fully explain each test before performing or ordering them.

Once an official diagnosis has been made, your clinician will work with you to create a treatment plan that works with your needs and lifestyle. Since different approaches work differently for everyone, your treatment plan will be revisited on a regular basis, and adjusted as needed to create the most effective treatment possible for you. Please visit our Fibromyalgia Treatment page to learn more about treatments available.

What sets us apart from most clinics and physicians is our extensive fibromyalgia support network available to those diagnosed with fibromyalgia, as well as their families and loved ones. Focus and support groups are held regularly, offering a safe space where you can discuss your condition with others who truly understand it, celebrate victories, and get support when you need it most. Families and loved ones of those with fibromyalgia can attend classes and groups designed to help them understand this "invisible" pain disorder, become better caregivers, and receive support and advice from others who are living with, or care about, someone with fibromyalgia.

Best of all, these classes and support groups are open to anyone and everyone, whether you choose to receive care at Evergreen Fibromyalgia Network or not. Our only requirement is that fibromyalgia has affected your life in some way, whether because you have been diagnosed with it, or simply care about someone who has.

You don't have to go through this alone. Get connected today by requesting our free information packet to help you get started.
